NFL Playoff Bets

We are down to just seven NFL games left before a long stretch of no football. So there is no better time to win some money to pad your account for college basketball season. Here are my NFL Playoff bets for the divisional round.

Texans at Ravens

The Ravens get their start to the playoffs after a bye against the Texans. The Texans are the biggest surprise of the season making a huge turn around from last year and coming off a playoff win against the Browns. Rookie CJ Stroud has been unreal this year under Rookie head coach Demco Ryans. That Texans defense has looked pretty good with Will Anderson and Christian Harris. Would you look at that, those last three names are Alabama guys. Crazy. Who knew. Anywho the spread is Ravens -9.5 and the total is 43.5.

My play here is going to be the over. I don’t really feel comfortable taking a side in this game. Sure the Ravens should probably win this game easily. But Lamar Jackson has had his playoff struggles and the Texans have some momentum. Then you have the age old rest vs rust question for the Ravens. Then again Ravens could also very easily show why they are the one seed and blow Houston out. So I’m going to stick with pulling for points. The Texans just put up 45 against a good Browns defense, granted their defense did a good bit of that, and they averaging 29 ppg in their last four games. If you take out week 17 when the Ravens didn’t play starters, they finished the season scoring 56, 33,and 23. Points points points. Let’s add Will Anderson to record a sack at +140. Roll Tide.

Packers at 49ers

I’m going to be pretty quick with this one because basically everything that I said about the Texans/Ravens game applies here. Packers offense is humming, but the 49ers could potentially make this a blow out. They are the one seed and arguably the best team when fully healthy. Spread is 49ers -10 and the total is 50.5. That total is a big number but I still think these teams can get there pretty easily on a good day. I’m taking the over here as well.

Bucs at Lions

I will actually be taking a spread here! The spread is Lions -6 and the total is 49. The Bucs just molly whopped the Eagles and seem to have some momentum going into Detroit. But let’s not play ourselves here, I think any team in the league could have beaten the Eagles at the end of the season and they pretty much proved that. The Bucs are a good story and I really like Baker Mayfield, but I think the magic probably runs out here. The Lions finally won a playoff game, and beat a pretty tough Rams team to do it. They are just the better team in this one and I think they win it by double digits. Lions -6.

Chiefs at Bills

The most promising and exciting game of the weekend by far. Another chapter of Mahomes vs Allen. And this time the Chiefs have to go to Buffalo. Neither one of these teams had the season that people were expecting and struggled at times. Yet here we are right back in the same spot. The spread is Bills -2.5 and the total is 45.5. The Chiefs did look like they figured some things out last week against the Dolphins, but it was also the Dolphins in the frigid cold. Who didn’t see a Chiefs win coming? Well that would be me because I decided to believe in Tua (again, Roll Tide). The Bills looked good against the Steelers for a while, but they did try to let them back in the game late.

I am going to take the Bills -2.5 here. No stats no nothing. It just feels like Josh Allen’s time to win this match up. Especially in Buffalo. It probably won’t be a blowout or anything. In fact i would expect the Bills to win by 3 points. But that’s a win. If I were to pick the total I would probably take the over just because this game could very likely turn into a shootout/last team with the ball wins kind of situation like we’ve seen in the past. But I’m not confident enough to make that pick. My favorite pick of the weekend though, is Stephon Diggs ATTS at +150. He hasn’t scored since week 12. That is unreal for someone as good as him. Big game, tight game, I think Allen will be looking his way and Diggs will step his play up.

Let’s Win Some Money

Like I said, not much time left to win money this NFL season. If you didn’t want to read all of that I’ll save you some time. Texans/Ravens Over 43.5, Will Anderson Sack, Packers/49ers Over 50.5, Lions -6, Bills -2.5, and Stephon Diggs ATTS. But I do appreciate anyone who did read all of that. That’s very cash money of you. If you have different opinions on these games tell me about them in the comments. And if you were persuaded to take any of these picks after reading this, you have to follow me on Twitter/X here. Sorry I don’t make the rules I just enforce them. Plus I just made you money so throw me a follow. Or I lost you money so go over there and yell at me. Just go follow ok. Please? For any Alabama fans reading this, or I guess Tennessee too, go here to see the preview of their game this weekend. Anyway thanks for reading and good luck this weekend!
